For ages 3-4 years old. This wonderful method by Andrea and Trevor Dow from Teach Piano Today is perfect for any preschooler. We learn to play the piano with the use of our finger friends. We learn important concepts of music like long and short sounds, high and low sounds. We also learn math while learning music.
BEGINNER
Fun and Creative
Who says a beginner can't do improvisation? With my first lessons, we improvise right away. After learning a few basics, we go to scales and chords right away too. Beginners and also the higher level students reinforce theory with games and other off the bench activities.
INTERMEDIATE/ ADVANCED
Independence
By this time, intermediate students know how to learn a piece by themselves that is at least a level lower. Their technique will also be refined not only with more scales but also playing pieces with different rhythms. At this level, they will also learn how to play chords of a favorite song and sing along with it.
Online Lessons
Remote or online lessons may not be new in the music teaching industry but it has become popular since 2020 due to the world's situation. I offer online lessons just like my regular in person lessons. An in person student can also switch to online due to inclement weather, no way to get to his or her in person lesson or feeling under the weather but well enough to have a lesson.
