Celebrating 5 Years of Recitals

This is a very exciting time of year when all my students show off their mastered pieces. 2018 is special. This will be the 5th of three of my students. They have been with me since they were at least in elementary school. Their dedication in learning to play the piano has matured and blossomed.

Madeline is now playing intermediate to late intermediate pieces. She loves discovering different types of music. Her favorite pieces to play are classical inspired compositions by Andrea Dow from Teach Piano Today. Even when it gets tough, this girl doesn't give up. Give her a little space, and she will get it done.

Christian is my slowly but surely learner. Christian loves music from musicals like Hamilton and he just started liking classic rock. He is graduating from 8th grade this year and he was asked to play the hymn, Irish Blessing for his graduation. What an honor!

Noah doesn't only keep up with piano but is also now playing the cello. He loves playing pieces by Daniel McFarlane and other action pieces. He performed with the SJBODA Elementary Honor String Ensemble this past May.

Continuing their music education and making wonderful progress are Sarah, Callie, and Liam. My daughter Amelia started to learn how to play the violin this year with Dr. Valissa Wilwerth.

Performing in their first recital are Nadia, Keira, Noa, Elizabeth and Lily. All girls are progressing beautifully in each of their own pace. Max and Jude finished their preschool piano program this year with Wunderkeys and are performing pieces from Piano Safari.

Indeed this school has been a challenging one for me juggling all lessons plus taking care of the family. I am so excited for them to play for their family and friends.
